How an ex felon can get a Federal or army/CIA/FBI job?
a pardon for your crimes is about the only way, but they are not easy to do.
Best Answer :
damn near impossible…..its so tough they don't even want your family members to have felonies.

When pigs fly!
Honestly, it is nearly impossible. They all do extensive background checks. It is hard enough to get a job with them without a criminal history!
The department of defense will not allow it. There is no pardons, security is to strict ( i know being a DOD employee that is not military)
An Ex Felon does not belong in that type of work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not a chance for all 4. I when i joined the military, they did a background check and although minor offenses could be overlooked, ex felon/convict wasn't allowed. I currently work for the DOD and a thorough background/security check was done. Criminal background wouldn't be allowed because if your job dealt with classified information, they would feel like they couldn't trust you with it. And if something did happen, you would be the first to be blamed. I was going to try the CIA/FBI and they are even stricter about that kind of thing.
Regrettably, even if your felony conviction is 50 years old, it prohibits you from begin chosen. Your conviction has backballed that opportunity. Sorry.
The only way is to be so good at your criminal activities that law enforcement offers you a job to help solve crimes in your area of expertise.
